For visually impaired and adaptive athletes, the biggest barrier is often not physical ability—it is access. Many people never try Brazilian Jiu Jitsu because they assume:

- they won’t be safe

- they won’t be understood

- they won’t be welcomed

In reality, most adaptive gyms already have the environment needed for success. A few small coaching adjustments can make a significant difference.
